One Million Reasons to Go Veg

• Go veg for the environment. The meat industry has a terribly negative effect on the health of our earth.

• Go veg because mankind was not meant to eat meat. Mankind has somewhat evolved to tolerate it.

• Go veg for your health. Vegetarians have dramatically fewer occurrences of many different cancers. Going vegetarian also decreases your chance of becoming obese, and helps decrease blood pressure and the chance of heart disease.

• Go veg because the meat industry is a cruel and unusual industry. Animals are raised for slaughter. They are treated like meat their entire lives, and in the end they become just that… meat.

• Go veg because it tastes better, and there are plenty of wonderful meat alternatives available today.

• Go veg because cutting vegetables is not gross, and cutting animals is.

• Go veg so you can proudly wear your ‘powered by tofu’ t-shirt.

• Go veg so you do not need to bleach your counter tops after preparing a meal.

• Go veg to avoid food poisoning.

• Go veg to avoid the ingestion of growth hormones.

• Go veg because vegetarians are better at frisbee.

• Go veg because vegetarians have no need to detox.

• Go veg because milk is for cows. That is why it comes out of them.

• Go veg because ‘fish are friends, not food’.

• Go veg because animals have brains just as we do. They think, they feel happiness, they care, they get angry, they cry, they sleep, they wake, they are all just so complex and different.

• Go veg because if you have a cat, a dog, a fish, or any other pet, then you are an animal lover. Animal lovers do not eat meat… hypocrites do.

• Go veg because there is no such thing as a meat-eating environmentalist.

• Go veg because you have the choice. Just because you were brought up eating meat, does not make it right or healthy.
