Is this a beauty or what? This a low impact home built in Wales by the current owners. It is dug into the hillside, and it blends into the surroundings nicely. They used straw bales in the floor, wall, and roof for perfect and natural insulation. Their fridge is even cooled by the naturally cool foundation. The only thing it is missing is a beach.
