Dog fighting is sick an will NEVER be o.k. it is terrible what they do to dogs, they get hung or shot. Dogs have feelings too and trhey deserve to have voices to say how much pain they’re in!! I think you have to be mentaly ill in the head to dog fight. Its just TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Stop dog fighting!!!

I cannot believe some of the comments that have been posted in this thread. I live in a city where Pit Bulls are banned. My family has had Pit Bulls since before I was born and never once had a problem. To think that anyone would stick up for this monster, blows my mind. And as for the comment that Ulrich made in regards to slavery, the issue here is not slavery, its animal cruelty! Slavery ended decades ago, and as far as I am concerned that sob story is long over. Unfortunatly animal cruelty is still a growing problem. Michael Vick was charged not for the fact that he was black but for what he was doing to those animals. To be honest the penalties for this sort of barbaric cruelty are nowhere near what they should be! The man is a coward and as far as I am concerned his own dogs should be turned on him for all I care, see how brave he is then!

Seriously, what is wrong with those of you that say, “it was just a dog.”…These animals are tortured. What is wrong with you that you think that would EVER be ok?? Yes, there are people who are being harmed, tortured, and many human atrocities as well. But, that in no way makes the puposeful torturing of animals okay.
The fact that anyone thinks so simply tells us how low we have sunk as a society. The fact that forced killing is ok now as simple entertainment for the uneducated and ignorant is a sad reflection on us all.

I think that u are out of line you can not judge people because they have a different opinion than u. Calling people stupid is not right u don;t have any home training. Everyone doesn’t feel the same way about dogs especially pit bulls. I am from the country and I know people who fight chickens. SO WHAT!!!

I think that this Vick thing has gotten out of hand. What about world poverty/urban poor? Focus on important things Pets are not important in my book. Pit bulls are very dangerous dogs and anyone who has a pit as a pet is insane if u ask me. FREE VICK!
