Doesn’t that look yummy? ^^^^ It’s the King’s fave, it’s the double whopper!!! Images like that make we so happy my fridge is loaded with vegetables. That is what they look like when they come out of the wrapper, we’ve all seen them. No photoshopping, it really looks that nasty. Why do so many humans love this stuff so much? Addicted to grease? The convenience of not having to cook or do dishes?
I believe it’s all of the above, and in the end, it is just unhealthy laziness. Far too many parents are filling not only themselves, but their children with this tripe. Diabetes used to be uncommon, look at it now. Thriving in our sick lazy world. Kids are not being taught early on the benefits of eating healthy, and within no time at all, those kids have children of their own and they’re eating lunch at McDonalds and supper at Burger King.
Diabetes is one thing, but it’s just the beginning. Fast food diets are linked to cancer, coronary heart disease, and of course, obesity. Two thirds of America is overweight. I live in Canada but I’m sure we are not far behind on that scale.
People who eat fast food a few times a week don’t tend to eat healthy meals at home either. Humans who think before they eat, don’t eat the stuff at all. Why so many people now a days don’t care about what enters their bodies, I really don’t know. Do they really feel it does not make a difference?
Diets high in processed foods, like fast food, can lead to endless other problems as well. A few examples are, rotten teeth, digestion problems like constipation, headaches, depression, poor concentration, tiredness, and many many more.
Movies like “Fast Food Nation†and “Super Size Me†have helped to raise awareness. Those who have not seen them should do so. Especially, if you enjoy a good big mac.
Many fast food chains have added a vegetarian menu. Of course, I don’t think this is a negative, but I still personally don’t like buying from those places. Whether they accept the fact that some people don’t want to eat that greasy junk or not, they still support the endless slaughter of cows, chickens, turkeys, and pigs. To go with that, anything vegetarian that you buy from a corporation like that is going to packed with preservatives and not good for you anyway
I’ll be happy when it’s over. I’m hopeful. One day everyone will care about themselves and our friends in the animal kingdom.
