Health Benefits - Hemp Hearts
Ever tried Hemp Hearts? I have not, but I’ve recently heard some things about these shelled little seeds and i plan on ordering some online. They appear to be basically a super food!!
These lil’ guys have been shown to reduce inflamation for people with arthritis. They help reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol, and they have proven to help with weightloss. When eaten they leave your body feeling full and nutritionally satisfied, therefore keeping your appetite under control.Hemp hearts help with digestion problems like constipation and they also fill you with energy. They even appear to be a cure for chronic fatigue.
Clinical studies have shown that hemp hearts are unmatched within nature for their perfect balance of proteins, essential fats and the omega fatty acids 3 and 6. Hemp hearts also contain most of the required vitamins. Hemp hearts contain almost no carbohydrates, saturated fats, or sugars. A single hemp heart is approximatly 33% protein. 4 table spoons of hemp hearts a day are supposedly all you need to maintain energy levels and optimal health. Those 4 table spoons kick the pants off of an energy/protein bar.
Hemp hearts are easy as pie to add to your diet. Toss those 4 tablespoons in your cereal or shake in the morning and you are set. Hemp hearts are tasteless and odorless, so they basically disappear. All the praise I’m giving these little seeds, you’d think I’m selling them for a living. In fact, as i stated up there, I have not even tried them. I am going to though, and i will be sure to update this post with my results when the time comes. I heart hemp hearts!
